Custom Eyeshadow Palette Options

What options you can get if you want more special eyeshadow palette with unique design, and can accept large MOQ? This article introduces a few normal options you can consider for your products.

1. Bespoke designs on paper palette

1.1. Full size colorful design on palette

The cardboard palette could be fully custom printed (CMYK or 4 color match). It can have matte finish or glossy finish.

1.2. Custom size and shape of palette

It’s flexible to design the pakaging as you request. A new die cut mold has to be made before making palette.

1.3. Custom size and shape of pans inside palette

The private label eyeshadow pans is round and 26.5 mm diameter. For custom palette, you can choose the following pan size & shape, MOQ 1000 pcs.

For other size & shape, it will rquire larger MOQ, normally 3000 pcs.

1.4. Using different materials of paper and pans

There are many types of paper could be used as packaging raw materials. We have cooperated with many paper suppliers, from where you can select.

The pan could be made of aluminum or medal, depends on your request. Medal pans are perfect for magnetic refillable eyeshadow palette, but it’s heavier than aluminum.

1.5. Embossed or debossed part

You can have your logo or smbol emboosed on eyeshadow pressed powders or on paper palette.

1.6. UV varnish part

The palette surface could be partially UV varnished. It can cover your logo or images.

1.7. Glitter part

This will request glues and glitters.

1.8. Hot stamp print

Hot stamp print is mostly used for many packaging, and it’s luxury outlook. The raw materials of foil paper and hot stamp print plate molds are varied a lot by different cost and suppliers.

2. Plastic eyeshadow palette

2.1. Advantage of plastic palette

There are many advantages of using plastic palettes, such as standard quality, flexible design in shape and size and cheaper unit cost. However, there are many types of producing techniques, which may request some knowledge to know the production process. As least, to produce a plastic packaging, it requires making a plastic inject mold. That results in very high set up cost and large MOQ if you want fully custom design.

2.2. Using standard molds

There are many plastic packaging manufacturers in the market supplying various types of eyeshadow palettes molds. By using such molds, you can decorate the palettes based on your design, e.g. changing the colors, using metallic plating, logo print, etc. Generally, MOQ is 12000 pcs.

2.3. Fully custom designed

If you don’t like any palettes supplied by packaging supplier, or if you want to have your own patent packaging, then you can make your own molds for the packaging. This may need help from professional industrial designers. The Cost of making mold is high and the whole production time is long.
