Is reverse engineering legal? Will I get sued?
Yes, it is legal when done correctly. We do not create "counterfeit" products (fake logos/packaging). Instead, we analyze the benchmark's ingredient list and texture to create a functionally equivalent formula that belongs to you. We ensure the new formula does not infringe on specific ingredient patents.
How close can you match the original product?
We typically achieve an 80% - 90% match in terms of texture, viscosity, and skin-feel.
Note on Scent: Fragrances are trade secrets and often impossible to match 100%. We will create a scent profile that is extremely close (e.g., "Floral Rose with hints of Citrus") or develop a custom scent for you.

How much sample do I need to send?
To perform a full GC-MS analysis and physical stability test, we typically require 100ml - 200ml of the liquid product (approx. 2-3 full-size retail bottles).
Is it cheaper than the brand name product?
Almost always. Big brands have huge marketing markups. Since we are the source factory, your per-unit cost will likely be significantly lower (often 70-80% less) than the retail price of the benchmark product, giving you healthy profit margins.
How long does the analysis take?
Initial lab analysis and the creation of your first counter-sample typically take 10-14 business days after we receive your benchmark product.
