How We Can Help?
Customs Duties & Import Taxes (Who pays?)
Standard Policy: DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) Unless otherwise stated in your quote, our standard shipping term is DDU.
- What this means: You (the buyer) are responsible for paying any import duties, VAT, or taxes levied by your country’s customs upon arrival.
- The Process: The carrier (e.g., DHL) will contact you to pay the tax before delivering the package. If you refuse to pay, the package will be destroyed, and no refund will be issued.
Premium Option: DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) For specific countries (USA, parts of EU, SE Asia) and bulk orders, we can offer DDP Shipping.
- What this means: We calculate and collect the tax upfront. You pay one final price, and the goods are delivered to your door with no extra fees.
- How to get it: Please ask your account manager for a “DDP Quote” before placing your order.
