How We Can Help?
Guidelines for Using AI-Generated Designs
We notice many clients are using AI tools (like Midjourney, DALL-E, or Canva AI) to create logos and packaging concepts. While AI is a great tool for inspiration, the raw files it generates are rarely “Print-Ready” for luxury packaging.
If you are using AI, please review these critical limitations to avoid production delays or poor print quality.
1. The “Gradient Gold” Problem (Color vs. Foil)
- The Issue: AI often generates logos with “fake gold” textures, shadows, 3D effects, or gradients to make them look metallic on screen.
- The Reality: Hot-Stamping is a mechanical process, not a digital print. We use a physical solid foil (Real Gold Foil) pressed onto the bottle.
- The Rule: We cannot print “gradients” or “shadows” with hot stamping. Your design file must be Solid Black and White.
- Black parts = Will be Gold Foil.
- White parts = Will be Empty (Bottle surface).
2. Resolution & Vector Format (The “Blurry” Problem)
- The Issue: AI tools typically generate Raster images (JPG/PNG) made of pixels. They often look sharp on a phone screen but become blurry or “pixelated” when resized for printing.
- The Requirement: For Hot-Stamping and Silk-Screening, we require Vector Files (.AI, .EPS, .PDF). Vector lines remain crisp at any size.
- The Fix: If you generated a logo in Midjourney, you must use a tool (like Adobe Illustrator “Image Trace” or Vectorizer.ai) to convert it into a vector format before sending it to us.
3. Copyright & Ownership
- Important Disclaimer: The copyright laws regarding AI-generated art are currently complex and vary by country.
- Your Responsibility: Aurora Global Brands is a manufacturer, not a legal advisor. By submitting a design file to us, you confirm that you have the rights to use it. We are not liable for any trademark or copyright infringement claims resulting from AI-generated designs you submit.
Summary Checklist for AI Designs:
- [ ] Is the file converted to Vector format (.AI / .PDF)?
- [ ] Have all shadows, gradients, and 3D effects been removed?
- [ ] Is the artwork Solid Black (for the parts to be foiled)?
- [ ] Do you have the right to use this image commercially?
